Pestering me for his supper! "When it involves Beagles" The loss of their appetite can mean "certain death"! BUT Goobers appetite
has returned BIG TIME! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup2.gif And with the additional
knowledge about vitamins & supplements I hope Goober will have a
few more years to teach me about how to extend their life! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup2.gif

Thanks all! "Nothing gets a Beags attention more than home
cookin"! AND if said cooking involves boiling some of the "safe
to eat bones" from a deer! Yep, that is how our "boy,s" spent the
weekend! Chewing on bones/brushing their teeth. And if that were
not enough to tease them... for my supper tonight I made carnitas
con chili verde with a side of ranch style beans. BOY did they
stick by my side tonight! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yay.gif

Btw, I would be negligent if I did not mention that my stepmom
was not "pet oriented" before she met Snapper! But after spending
some time with him in the role as a housewife in the 1980's He
was her constant companion & grew to love him as much as the
rest of the family did! To a beagle, she was "the great food
wizard"! And if not for him... Neither of us (Pop & I) would be
owners of 2 beags/ hounds at once! (Well, not me) by the fact
that I purchased my own home in 1992 & Goober as well! Homer was adopted on 2 august 2002!
