Xerxes had his check up today.

We had realized he'd gained weight - about 1, 1.5lbs. He's still a body condition score of 3 (perfect), but we'd like him to slim up some.

All was good, but he has small fractures on his rear molars or something that don't need to come out, but are causing tartar build up. Sigh.

Otherwise, he's got that murmur, but is very healthy overall!

Wow Cassie's rear lower back molars are cracked through. It was discovered 2yrs ago during a cleaning. She doesn't seem bothered by it. I imagine they cracked on some hard chews. Soon shes going for another cleaning so we'll see what's with them.
You can reduce the amount of dog food and add some low sodium canned green beans.

Oh yes, we're reducing food and upping exercise. He'll lose the weight easily.

We are thinking clinking teeth with the puppy while playing (they mouth wrestle) MAY have caused that? Not sure.
