So we've been using an ear cleaner for Mizu for the past week..and the past couple days when we wipe the inside of his ear theres dark tiny clots and blood. I rubbed his ear from the outside and it sounds like there is fluid in there. Just checked a few minutes ago and still blood. We are going to see his vet this Sat but I may go sooner. His behavior has not changed at all..I did notice last week that he would rub his ear like crazy on the carpet..but didn't really think anything of it. If he had mites what do they look like and do they cause the ear to bleed ???

I'd say that's a clear case of ear mites.

You can detect dog ear mite infections by looking for dry, black ear discharge resembling coffee grounds in your dog's ear. (Sorry, coffee drinkers...) This dark discharge is composed of ear wax, blood, biochemicals, and the ear mites themselves.

You should go see a vet ASAP.
