This boy is in the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society. He looks like a purebred bloodhound. At one time, he was listed as adopted. I guess he was returned. Bloodhounds are probably not a breed for everyone. Don't see a lot of bloodhounds in shelters. Surely, he would be a great find for someone. I would contact a bloodhound rescue, but have not found one - at least none near me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here is his link.

I sent the link out to a few places. Not sure how much success I will have.

Long, floppy ears just melt my heart.

(You didn't hear this from me!)
My heart wants another Black and Tan Coonhound. Starting to look a bit.

Did you see the bloodhound in the Westminster dog show-he won best in the hound group. The audience sure cheered for him and he had my vote

I missed him, but I love ALL the hound breeds. I'm easy like that. HA!

Thank you! He is no longer listed on the website. Hope that means he has been adopted. I know the shelter made a transport to the NE today. I will watch for them to update the site.
