just got a call from the girl working with bernie.
she had told me she was gonna call at 6:30. when she didnt i got a lil worried. so i got the call at 7:15.
she said a side from everybody falling in love with my child, he was doing great. they switched his meds as well. hes eating like theres no tomorrow, and drinking too. which is great. she said he had just got back in from leaving/reading pee-mail, and downloading other info as well. (ahum)
she told me that bernie was amazingly strong in his upper body, and they were pretty impressed by that, sick or not.
yep thats daddys boy! :animal18:
i told her it really sucked coming home from work today to nobody. i usually come through the door and let out a "hey bud". well, please dont think im mental, but i did it any ways knowing hes not here. so theres the report. she said all things were good and hes doing just great!
keep up the prayers please. he still needs them.

thank folks, im still scared for him and the results yet. they are gonna do his MRI on monday to make sure of everything, then go to surgery.
they said they were gonna keep him about 4 or 5 days after, just to keep an eye on him.

thanks folks. hes not exactly walking. but he has full movement in his rear legs.he just cant hold himself up anymore. the surgon said he was almost positive it was his disk. hes seen thousands of these cases in these dogs alone. the MRI is due in the morning. it should tell them exactly whats going on in his back. the doc said if it were strickly a betting game, he would bet the house on a slipped disk. when i dropped him off friday he was walking, just couldnt hold himself up to well when he stopped.his team of doctors all feel pretty good about his surgery and recovery.
so thats what we're leaning towards.
