It’s everyone’s favorite game, are they beagles? Meet Biscuit and Bagel, 4 month old brother and sister littermates. We have had them for 2 months now and they have brought us an immense amount of joy! When we got them we were told they were 100% beagles, but I’m beginning to wonder if that’s entirely true. Mainly because of our male, Biscuit, who has pokadot ears and at 4 months old already weighs 22 lbs. I am having him DNA tested and should know the results in 2-4 weeks, but wanted to see what you all think. I will update with the results. Regardless, of what they end up being, we love them to pieces and wouldn’t trade them for anything, but in the meantime it’s interesting to wonder if the dogs we originally thought would only weigh 30 lbs are going to end up being 60!

Very cute for sure and unusual markings. Probably some mix.. do they have white tipped tails ( beagle trait)?
They're the right age for spay and neutering.

They do have the white tails/paws. This pic is from a month ago but the most current one that shows his tail.
He’s scheduled to be neutered in January and she will be spayed next summer. She was very sick (is healthy now though), which is why there is such a size discrepancy between them, and my vet wants to give her the most opportunity to grow before she is spayed. ☺

Careful they dont try to mate.. the older they are when they get spayed and neutered increases the cancer risk. My dog was great 2 days after and went to her obedience class.

They are SO adorable!! I love the spotted ears. Looks like a mix to me. One of my beagles, Vazzle (RIP) was a mix and she was awesome. She had so many beagle traits but also some other traits from whatever she was mixed with. She was super smart too!

Interesting. So 75% is a hound. Between the foxhound and GS your dogs may be a little larger. Would love to see current pictures.

Foxhound does make sense for that size! They're lovely, very cool to see the results.
