/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wub.gif I’ve always frowned upon our Beagle World humans calling their owners (us canines) derogatory names. I take particular umbrage that our fellow beagle Abby had been labeled <u>'Chunk Dog'</u> by her humans. My fellow hounds, join me in this thread in a true dogs only protest of this insensitive practice.

But wait! I thought that was MY name! At least part of my name, since Mommy called me Dammit Duke for the first 6 months.

I am totally in on this protest! Just promise me it will never turn into a hunger strike, 'cuz I don't think I could handle that!

Well if we wanted to be as derogatory as some of our humans are we could come up with some rhymes. I mean Crabby, Grabby and Shabby do rhyme but I think no good can come of those rhymes. Her Jamie does post a lot maybe if we wanted to be cruel we could suggest

I think we should be kinder than our humans, We need something that suggests the “Dogs Rule Humans Drool” that says what a fine hound Abby is. Something like this but not as corny::

I am definitely on board. Since Lucky came home to live with me (that young whipper-snapper) my mom has been calling me her "Tootsie Roll" dog. She even had the audacity to put me on a diet! She says I need to lose 3-4 lbs. Doesn't she know how hard I worked to find those lbs.?
