Ok, I'll admit my Photoshop powers are not Justice League strong (I think I watched too many Sat morning cartoons as a kid :freak: ) but I was playing around with this tonight and though if you guys like, and can keep a secret for a couple days, I was going to mail it to the house for a little holiday surprise for Peggy.

Whadda ya think? Mail or trash?

Hallmark certainly doesn't have to worry!

I normally use a combo of the MAgnetic lasso tool to get the majority of feature I want to copy out and then switch to the regular lasso tool to clean up the edges. Shift and Alt keys toggle for you to add to and subtract from selection with lasso tools.

Once its selected, Ctrl C copies and you can switch to the photo you want to use it in and Ctrl V pastes it in. You can then tweak with a various number of tools to try to match the light and texture etc.

Make any sense at all?
