Wow, what a beautiful place. I adore the picture of Mauka in the water. Is the dog beach fenced off? I am full of envy at you being near such a beautiful coast.

Yes, those trade winds caught his ear in that third pic. He's so funny sometimes... it was almost like he was posing for me.

Nope, there's no fences there. If you go when the tide is down, there's plenty of sandbar for the dogs to run around and I've never had any problems with him running places he shouldn't. We're on a military installation too, so he wouldn't get very far even if he did lose me. But as you can see, he's always too caught up in all the other dogs there to really get into trouble.
