[Toby & Lucky]

Lucky strikes again! He climbed onto the dryer, got into the doggie box, got out the box of heart worm preventative, got the packets out of the box, chewed and ate every one of them

Four of them! It was too late in the evening to call the vet, so I looked it up online. Sounded like he would be fine. He acted kinda drunk! I was worried, but sure enough, called the vet this morning and they said he should be fine. Lucky, Lucky, Lucky, you sure are a little Houdini! It has never dawned on Toby to jump and climb up on things. I am just dumbfounded by what Lucky can get to! He is only a 13 inch beagle!!!

Glad to hear Lucky is okay! Even if Maggie won't eat anything else, she still loves her heartworm pills so I am not surprised they were appealing to Lucky.

I was told that as long as they don't eat 10-13 of them things, everything is fine.

The medicine in each package is not that high, but yet not good to be giving more then once a month.

JoJo did the same thing a while ago. Ate about 6 worming tablets. She'd stolen them from the pantry. I rang our emergency vet and they said to keep an eye on her but she should be fine. She was.
