He had a great time. Didn't want to leave! We had to pick him up and carry him up the steps because he refused to come up to the boardwalk. I think he might've eaten some sand or something he shouldn't have because he had a bit of a tummyache yesterday. Took him to the vet because he was drooling excessively in his sleep. His stool was kind of gritty so the sand might be the culprit. Vet gave him an anti-nausea shot which stopped the drooling and he's on a bland diet for a few days. Other from that, I think he had a good day!

Charlee is quite handsome!
Your telling of the sand eating sounds so, so familiar to me -- my Maggie has a sand fetish -- anything that has sand as a component is fair game. This only started mid-life -- she was about 7 years old when I moved to my current home. The neighborhood was just being built and here and there were small piles of concrete in the road. Maggie actually had a mouthful of concrete before I realized what she was doing! I have since had to ban her from my screened in porch because she eats the sand in between the brick pavers. If I am outside with her and get distracted, she will start licking the sidewalk. Eating/licking this stuff makes her sick -- vomiting/diarrhea but she would go back and do it again in a second.

Such a handsome boy! I'm really jealous...I was born and raised in south Florida and have only lived in Knoxville for a couple of years...I miss the beach so much!

We used to go to Wildwood all the time when I was younger. I loved it there. And Seaside Heights and Keansburg (SP??).
