Moosie is a great dog but his one issue has always been barking like a crazed lunatic at other dogs when we are out on walks. He doesn't do this with Marc, but he does with me and various dogwalkers we have had over the years (mostly female). We worked with a couple of trainers on it for some time and were able to get it a bit more under control, but never completely under control.

Then last fall we got Buzz. Most of the time Buzz and Moose are on a double leash together and therefore usually right next to each other within the pack when we are out on walks. The trainer always said consistency is the key - and Buzz is the epitome of consistency. EVERY time Moosie starts to go off at another dog, Buzz bites his head and Moosie stops barking. After a while I noticed that Moosie wasn't barking at EVERY dog that walked by - and then over the past while I've noticed that he has pretty much stopped the barking entirely.

So if anyone else is struggling with this problem I recommend getting your own Buzz - at least for us he seems to have been the solution!

Ha, ha, that is hilarious! Good for you Buzz for teaching him not to bark at everyone. Sometimes it takes a dog to teach another dog something. That is great.

Gee, I had to wait for Miss Shiloh to get hard of hearing so she didn't hear the mailman, paper carrier, and delivery person to bark at them. And just think all I needed to do was get a Buzz-dog to bite her head!

Haha. That's a great solution! Please have Buzz get in contact with my Spock
I'd love for my boy beagle to have such social control over his sister Bones.

That is hilarious. I could use a Buzz around here. Miss Jersey feels it is her duty to bark at each and every dog that walks by the window. And we live in a VERY pet friendly apartment complex with lots of dogs.

I love it! That is awesome! Unfortunately our guys only seem to teach each other bad habits.

Maybe Buzz could teach our honorary beagle, Kelsey-Bad not to bark when she gets all excited. Or maybe Henry could just bite Kelsey's head a' la Buzz!

That's hilarious!!!!

Sounds like Buzz could hire himself out as a dog behavior specialist. Then of course, there will be the book tour.
