today i was laying on the couch reading a book. sophie came up and started to lick my face, so i let her go to see what she would do. she sneakily climbed on top of me while licking my ENTIRE face, then licked all the exposed skin on my arms and hands. when she was done, she rubbed the side of her face on me a few times and laid on top of me. i let her slide because of the high cuteness factor, but normally being on the couch is a no-no. she laid on top of me for a long time. she is a total cuddle bug.

I think that is part of most beagles DNA. Tucker doesn't lick your face, but he does enjoy lap time. He has to have it everyday. When he is on your lap he will look up into your eyes with the most adoring look that would melt anyone.

That is so sweet! Roscoe does the same thing, particularly to my husband before we go to sleep. We call it beagle bath time. He does it to me too but Cole seems to me more lovey dovey with me. He too gives kisses and loves getting up under my chin, against my neck. I love it

My two are ninja cuddlers. We were in the living room watching TV earlier tonight; one second I hear the dogs playing in the dining room, and the next, I notice they're both curled up in the space between me and my boyfriend.

Winston wakes me up by licking any exposed body part. Unfortunately, because he and my DH are such blanket hogs, it's usually my feet!

Zelda is a hugger. She jumps up at me and won't stop until I crouch down to her level, put her paws on my shoulders and then give her a nice long hug.

As for licking body parts... if you ever meet Zelda, I'd say hide your belly buttons!!

Squeegee is the same too. Loves to snuggle. He'll get on your lap or curl up next to you in a minute! That's one of my favorite things about him. Earlier today I was trying to get my shoes on and all he wanted to do was get on my lap. I would pick him up and move him and then lean over to get my shoes and he would get back in my lap before I could put them on. Haha, my husband finally had to come help. I love my little snuggle beag

She licks our faces all the time and has a fetish for 'cleaning' our ears. Very cute, but also very slimy.

She also adores cuddling. Often when I'm on my computer she'll climb right into my lap.

I let her sleep on my bed every night, and it's gotten so she'll curl up on the hollow I make when I sleep on my side...now I can't sleep without her! Occasionally she'll climb into my lap when I'm sitting cross-legged and rest her head on my thigh. She loves doggie hugs, to, and when I carry her she lets me carry her like a baby (belly-up)or like a toddler (supporting her rump, one paw on my shoulder, the other resting against me). I love her cuddling and can't help but give in when she wants to be a sweetie.

And then there's Flora, who doesn't seem to care about laps. She'll flop at your feet to get a belly rub, and lay at the foot of the bed (foot warmer!), but doesn't cuddle and doesn't lick.

Lucy is a great cuddler, though.
