Hello,
Hope you are all staying healthy and well. My beagles have always come to us from medical lab releases - so the beagles can not bark / bay due to the lab practices. Gracie died 8 months ago leaving Duffy as our remaining beagle. Our house and hearts are too empty and Duffy is lonely as well. Question: Duffy can not bay (again a laboratory rescue) - I believe it may be hard on Duffy if we adopt a beagle which can bay (bark) or am I being too sensitive? Please advise... thank you!!!!

Sorry to hear about Gracie..my sympathies. Perhaps a good idea would be to contact the Beagle Freedom Project for another beagle.

I really don't know if it would bother Duffy. But how lovely of you to rescue them. Especially as former lab beagles.
