My husband doesn't notice anything when he watches TV. Maggie's techinque for getting a snack is to get closer and closer. Sometimes he gives her a bite without realizing what he is doing.

Nobody has to tell her to FOCUS!! That is a dog on a mission. :lol2: And she knows what works.

Shasta will do the same thing with my husband to get a petting. She backs in to where his hand is and then moves just a bit until he unconsciously pets her. If she wants a different area, she just moves so the hand falls there. He does not even know he is doing it. I look at her and say Shasta, and she gives me an innocent What? look.

She looks so sweet and innocent. How long does it take hubby to realize that Maggie's there? Jersey plays out a very similar scene on a regular basis. Only she's very obvious and doesn't try to be inconspicuous at all.

Zeus doses the same thing when my husband and I eat dinner at the coffee table. He site between us and eventually ends us with his head in my lab and nose an inch from my plate. I try hard now to let him up there....

OMG that is exactly what Sydney does.

Spencer is trickier though, he comes to you for a kiss and just when you let your guard down, he snags a taste of whatever you were eating.
