Hello all! It's a slow day at work so I started surfing for a beagle owners forum and found this one. Needless to say here I am! I'm by no means the star of this post, though, so let me introduce you to my pride and joy, Zoe:

Sorry for the sorta-crappy pictures, but the only others I have are a little too big so I figured I'd spare you all.

Zoe was actually my neighbor's dog (at which time her name was Jill) when she was a puppy for a few weeks, but his wife came down with cancer, medical bills added up, and they decided they could no-longer afford Zoe and were going to give her away to any place that took her. My parents heard of this while talking to them, knew I wanted a beagle, and let me know. Needless to say I got a purebread beagle puppy with all of her shots already done for free!

I've had her for over a year, now, and it's been some of the best time in my life. I love my dog to death and would love to get another beagle in a year or two (when Zoe matures even more) so she has a playmate.

Anyways, I look forward to my time spent on this forum as I'm already learning some things about these dogs that I didn't already know. Thanks for those who run this place!

Zoe is a lucky girl! It's great that you were able to give her a loving home...sounds like she really has a nice person to belong to.

Welcome to Beagle World. I am glad you found us. You will find lots of information. Zoe is a cutie. I have one beagle named, Maggie. She is almost 2 and is very active. We like to say she is a busy dog.
