As I was struggling with my mechanic project I did take a
break to watch Goober & Angel, (the neighbors eldest dog) a
doxie chase each other around & play. They are both over 16 yrs
old & still play as if they were still puppies! Angel is the
one that needed to have back surgery that cost over 5k$ last
year! Poor Goober would have been a goner if I had to front
that kind of money! But lucky for him, he is a very tough beag!
Goober is not as active as he used to be...but he does very
well for his age!

Thanks all! Pop & I have learned a lot about their care & how to
prolong their life thanks to what we have learned thru others
here & what we have learned about the breed by reading books
about beags! Goober has been a great success, as he was my first
puppy...& it was love @ first sight as he was the first one out
of a litter of 8 to come to me when I first met him! (If I did
not know better), (Id, swear that he has been a re-incarnation
of Snapper)!!!
