Becareful! I was just watching the news and there was a story about a lady who was walking her two dogs along the river when they both fell through the ice. One dog managed to get out but the other didn't. The rivers and lakes are melting right now and it's so dangerous to be walking on the thin ice. Oh God, how sad and horrible!

It's not an issue here but I wonder (and try not to wonder) about all of the animals (domestic as well as wild) who slip through ice unnoticed.

It makes my stomach hurt to think about.

I seen that on the news as well, it made me very sad. I agree with Brandy, be careful around the ice!!

There was also a news story where the fire department rescued a dog that had fallen through the ice. It looked like a big dog, a lab or something like that. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I'm not sure where it happened.
