After a thoroughly miserable summer here in England this weekend has seen a bit of an Indian Summer with clear blues skies and temperatures creeping into the low 20s/70s depending if you use C or F.

I took Ella to Virginia Water, a huge lake that forms part of Windsor Great Park, a few miles west of London near Windsor Castle on Crown Estate land.

The walk around the lake is officially 4.5 miles, take into account beagle miles and we must have done at least six miles of breath taking scenery.

Anyway Ella sees a few swans, vicious little buggers that are notoriously territorial and decides to have a chase...

End result....

She tries her best to be a water baby, especially since she discovered all the bread left at pondside when kiddies feed the ducks, but she just hates getting wet!
