Hi all
Well i can start by saying that Fizz has fully recovered from her injury and all is well. She was left during the day for about 4 hours when i came back to see her lying in her crate looking very sad! She tried to move her head to see me better and gave a yelp, didnt think much of it as she was walking around ok afterwards. The next day she looked terrible and was yelping alot when moving around, not good and straight to the vets we went. Vet said it was likely to be a neck or spinal problem /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif gave some anti inflamatry tablets and were told to monitor. Luckily she recovered over three days and has since been tearing the house up! But its a mystery as to how she done this, she does have a habit of jumping ontop of her crate as its left open in an enclosed kitchen. So possibly tried to jump from crate onto the kitchen worktops and not making the jump and falling badly, but we will never know! Worrying at the time but so glad shes ok, Counter surfers anyone? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I'm glad she wasn't badly hurt. Poor girl.
It's always a concern when our babies are hurt and can't give us details. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif I'm glad Fizz has recovered.

Awww well I'm glad everything is well now. Poor baby!
If its only a strain, I'm happy. But when it comes to the backs of beagles, I shudder when thinking about it. I am surprised your vet didn't want crate rest for 2 weeks. Do keep Fizz from juming on & off furniture for a while, just to be sake.
