Actually, Jackson originally came to us from Newfoundland, and they shipped him to Alberta, and it went really well. They have shipped dogs to Ontario before, I'm sure they have a protocol in place.

I would suspect that it has to do with all the upheaval in his routine. Beagles seem to be funny creatures- Austin once started dipping his paws in his water dish, we still have no idea why!
