Default r.i.p little fighter.

im not sure this is the thing to do or not. this story touched me deeply. it shows the love of 1 dog, for his family. i figured this is owed to little george. its not that i knew him, its that this little boy traded his life to protect his family. this, in my eyes is a hero.somewhere his family is hurting because of their lose, and if they belonged to this site, they might have put this up themselves.
i guess our furry friends know no limits when it comes to showing us they love us.george didnt.
so its in my heart that this is owed to george, and i hope its accepted by the members of
beagle world.
rest in peace little george, you were a brave little boy.

He gave all.
What an amazing little guy.
I really hope there is a special place at the bridge for soldiers like him.

George gave his life to save those children. This story really touches my heart. It just shows how much our dogs love us and the lengths they would go to save us.

Poor doggie!
I hope they throw the book at the owner of those pitbulls. That could have been prevented by keeping the dogs leashed, in a yard, or, better yet, those poor pitbulls having nicer owners. It just mkes me mad that people keep giving pits a bad name by mistreating them. No dog just up and attacks for no reason! It's not the dogs' fault; it's the stupid owners'! :soapbox:

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox.

I read George's story yesterday and it touched my heart.

Not only was George very brave and giving, he had an owner who will miss him terribly.

this story made me sad yesterday when I heard about it, then after seeing those pics it really breaks my heart. Good boy for fighting! good boy. I am sure he is up at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for his friends.

thank you folks so much for your replies. i know this is a very special place for those who post here. i wasnt sure that my post would be welcome.
but this story brought tears to my eyes. this little dog must have known going in that the outcome wasnt going to be good. the size difference alone was enough, then there was 2 of them. george deserves honor here i think.
he was a brave little boy, and paid the highest price in the name of love.hell, it just breaks my heart again to type this to you folks.
those children will grow up remembering this.
only when they are older will they really understand what we do now. as said before,
god speed little fighter, youve touched the hearts of many.may your memory and courage live in in the hearts that loved you.
