Talking Duke the Beagle

Hi, I just adopted a 3 year old from the shelter, been returned twice. His name is Duke, so far he loves to sleep, as soon as he arrived home he picked his spot on the couch, later on in the bed. He gets along with my 3 cats and he gets happy when he poops!

Welcome , very cute.
Thanks for rescuing. 3yrs old is when they start settling down. No doubt too much energy for the previous owner. I strongly recommend getting into an obedience class and establishing the commands and house rules. Beagles are not off-leash dogs so be carefull . They will run after a acent. Hope you have a fenced area.

Oh he's gorgeous! We adopted Xerxes around 3 years old and he's JUST starting to calm down. Thank you for rescuing and giving this cutie a needed home - so rewarding!
