Default My beagle named Bunny suffering from Kidney issues

Dear all,
Bunny completed 2 years in February this year. After then he started showing following symptoms,
1. Weight loss
2. Loss in appetite
3. Vomiting and motions
4.

After blood tests we came to know, he is suffering from severe kidney problems and pancreatitis.
He keeps vomiting. Nothing stays in his stomach. The doctor advised Rantac and digene but to no avail. He has not eaten anything since past 12 days as he immediately starts vomiting. Any suggestions?

Has the vet taken any xrays or MRI to see if there is a stomach or bowel problem/blockage?. Your dog is in an EMERGENCY situation. The kidneys may be shutting down due to other issues, and not from the kidneys as the primary problem. GET ANOTHER VET OPINION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE or go to an animal hospital.!!

Another thing to consider...is it possible that your dog got poisoned by something?

Pancreatits can be caused by food that they eat and they can heal from it if treated properly. One of my beagles had it so bad we thought he was going to die, we had been feeding him chewy dog treats like Snausages and table food. As soon as he was on a special food only with no treats or people food he improved quickly. I hope Bunny feels better soon.

How high fat is Bunny's food? Neb had pancreatitis when he was young, was ~3 days in ICU, and it took months of being on a low fat food for his liver values to return to normal. Good luck!
