Unhappy Rascal really slowing down on wal

Hubby said Rascal is really going slow, limping and huffing on their walks now.
We think she is about 10 years old now. We got her at the pound so there is no way to know for sure.
Just another thing to worry about... Sigh....
I'm good at that!

Did that come on gradually or quickly? If it came on quickly Rascal could have some sore joints or a muscle sprain. Molly is 13 and Oliver is 10 and they have slowed down a bit and have days that they just kind of shuffle along, especially when it's damp. Vazzle used to take TDC joint supplements and they really helped her a lot.

In human terms she's 10yrs old but in beagle yrs she's 50yrs old.
Thats 5 beagle yrs for each 1. Beagles age slower than the usual 7/1 dog years.
Anyway just something to consider in the equation.

Sorry to hear that Techie. Getting old even for a dog is not fun. I have noticed Autumn's face is much more grey/whiter than before. She will be 7 soon. She also sleeps a lot more. I feel like we just got her and how on earth can she be a middle aged dog. Try not to worry so much and enjoy more snuggles with her.

Ive noticed that Cassie has a little more trouble jumping up on a chair. I usually give her a boost when I see her.

Aww yeah they age. Neb is definitely slower now, after years of being ageless. It's a bummer!

Does Rascal show other signs of pain? Neb just walks slower
