Default A Popcorn Mystery

Today started like any other day.

I asked the Boss if we could go to the park. I really like the park. He said okay, "Load 'em up!" I was very excited!

I wandered through the bushes and played in the river.

I met two other Beagles! They were very nice and I like them a lot.

I was very tired so we went home to go sleepies. I like sleepies very much, but when we got home, we were shocked to find this...

Giant Piggy had been murdered! He is my new friend and I like to tug on him and make his hands squeak and now this! Oh no...

Boss is smart and he likes to look at things and he looked at me and asked why I killed my friend Giant Piggy.

I told him, "Boss, I was at the park, playing and sniffing and splashing in the river! How could I kill Giant Piggy? He was my friend and I like him very much!"

I was very sad and thought about my life behind bars.

I was determined to find the culprit behind the mayhem.

I asked Chiggin what he had seen. He said he saw NUTtin' and WOODn't tell me if he did.

I pinned down DukDuk. He said he'd never RAT out who did it.

I thought very hard about the mystery for a very long time.

Then I heard a noise in the toybox. And All the clues fit together!

Squirelly! With Piggy guts in his mouth! I chased him down and caught him and asked him why he did it.

He told me he was my very first friend. He is very jealous of all my new friends and wants to play with me.

That is very sad. I like Squirelly very much. He is my friend.

Whatever should we do with Squirelly?

I think the evidence is pretty clear. Not even necessary to call in the authorities. Just SAY'n.

Squirelly should be left behind bars for a time out! Good story too.
