He was fine, it was just a very expensive lesson ($3000) to us that stuff in cans smells to Neb. Now despite not having a lot of kitchen space, ALL cat food is in the kitchen (we have a baby gate stopping Neb from going in). We felt really dumb and guilty but all three vets (and all vet techs) we saw - including the specialist, who presumably spends a lot of time removing foreign objects from dogs - were shocked as well. Still, super upsetting.

I hope Cassie is okay too. Ouchie teeth suck, but she'll feel so much better once they're gone! If you gave her the chews for her teeth, we've found various softer vet-recommended ones (Purina Dentalife is what we give - it's VOHC approved (a veterinatory oral health group) which is what our vet told us to look for.

Yes, ive been referred to a vet dental specialist. We have no way of knowing how long the teeth were cracked. I will discuss with the specialist before scheduling.

Luc's was cracked for awhile too. I felt terrible. He did recover well, so feel good that Cassie will too!
