Love the pics! I see the collars - may I ask about them. I don't have a fence and have thought about purchasing a collar that trains him to stay within my yard.

I realize the topic of invisible fence can create a controversy but I have used it for years. I have never ever had a beagle go out of the fence. But I don't train or rely entirely on the I.F. either. I have seven and a half acres IF'd. But and this is a BIG but I never use it as or think of it as a physical fence. It's not the same. We have a very large area chain link fenced off the back of the house with a dog door to the house. When I let the pack out in the IF area I am with them. I spend several months training and reinforcing the boundaries with the new dog. I have trained fifteen dogs on the system with 100% success. Not to mention the ten or so friends or family I have helped train their dogs. One thing I will say I never ever leave my pack out in the IF if I am not home. If the electricity should go down then they could get out. Not worth the risk. If you want more info feel free to PM me and I will answer tons of questions.

Excellent point of never leaving them unattended on an IF. I have a physical fence and still do not allow my dogs in the yard unattended. Some dogs are escape artists. Some can just get into a whole heap of trouble. I like the control of having my eyes on the little stinkers. LOL!

I envy you doing agility with your dogs. We are drop outs from 2 different obedience classes. We just don't seem to want to do the homework! Our bad!
