Default Beau meets his son!!

Look who wondered in my yard AGAIN the other day!! I REALLY want this puppy!!!

And to make a long story short, the litter was an accident. My neighbor's lab escaped her pen when she was in heat, got in my yard and thus this happened. Beau has proven himself of being bred in the past. He's a proven rabbit dog and a great hunting dog. He has been retired from hunting for about 3 years now, but once in awhile I will stud him out to worthy female beagles. I'm ashamed that my dog is a father of a cross bred pup and Beau will be getting neutered here soon. But please don't bash me for this, I feel bad enough about it as it is.

I'll take the puppy...too. He is adorable. Cross bred or not. He is mostly beagle and who cares what he is, if someone loves him. Beau is a guy, and guy dogs can't help that the female comes into their yard and turns to "heat" up. Give Beau a break, if he is a proven breed stud, he sure makes good lookin' pups. No smash talk here, I just think we can't blame the whole thing on Beau....after all without the lady lab, there would be no pup either.

If the lab escaped, it really isn't your fault - or Buddy's. The pup is really cute!

I agree, that pup is so cute! I love his eyes! I'd want to take him in too, for sure. Your Beau certainly lives up to his name!

There is no need to be ashamed! The pup is really cute, and if they can't keep their dog locked up when she is in heat it is certainly not your fault. That would be like the neighbor setting a nice juicy chicken dinner in your yard and expecting the dog not to eat it. Every animal is truly a gift no matter what their breeding is.
