Meet Jayne

Jayne is a year and a half old, but she's as wise as an old hound dog! When I called the hunter about his last pup, he said he had two people coming to look at her and would call us if it didn't work out. The next morning, he said that one didn't show up and the other didn't seem capable of handling a beagle puppy and, knowing that we have previously owned beagles and gave our vet as a reference, he decided we were the best option for his special little girl.
Jayne has proven to be unexpectedly smart, she learns tricks within minutes. This is my favorite so far. She knows things like "go watch" and will run up to her chair to look out the window. Lately, we've been taking her to visit nursing homes, she's a natural!
Jayne is one of the sweetest, sassiest, and wisest dogs I've ever met and I hope that you guys love her too. I've never made a better decision in my life than choosing to bring her into my world.

Aww sweet...I wish we could teach Millie tricks...she won't even sit unless she wants too, you can be there going "sit, sit, sit" for 10 minutes everyone looking at you like a fool and your like "she does know it and she does it usually" them Proberly thinking "yea right" haha but she does know it along with things like "paw" she's just stubborn. Love to have her do stuff like your new pup. She's lovely by the way

What a gem you found in Jayne! Nothing is more rewarding than therapy dog work, I did that for years with my greyhound Andy.

Oh, believe me when I say "ham" is an understatement. She is the queen of drama queens. Beagles just have so much personality.

I agree. We are still getting used to how vocal Rascal is. Our first dog never vocalized!
