Hi all, chiming in from North of the border, and contrary to what you all think we do not disappear like bears into hibernation! Ottawa, Ontario is the place where you will shovel way more Bullshit than dog shit!
Yes, I am a dog addict. I own 6 right now, from 17 to 5 years old but right now all Yorkies! many more are in the dog heavens resting from a long earth life. I am an older guy and something like 45 years ago, we add a Beagle given to us and up to this day, I still can remember the howl telling you the hunt was on! As a retirement gift, I am looking to adopt one or two beagles to follow me on my hunting trips and keep me company in the camp as I hunt alone. I have been lurking for a while and want to join to learn how you deal with beagles in the home. There is no way these dogs will live in the garage and they will actually end up in our bed. |

Welcome Dan! We love dog addicts here. A beagle or two? Great choice. LOL! Sounds like they will have a great home. I'm pretty old myself and remember the bad old days, when we didn't really make dogs a part of our family. Glad the times have changed.
