Hi everyone!
I foster dogs through one of the rescues here in Minneapolis, and fell in love with one of my fosters right away and ended up adopting him . The rescue listed him as a shepherd/corgi mix, but when I took him to the vet he said he definitely has some beagle in him, but no clue what else. Some people think he's a puggle, but I don't. The color is right, but not his face and body. So it's a mystery, but I still love him! He's only 6 months old, and was not housebroken when we got him. I taught him to ring a bell when he needs to go out, and he's got that down! He's so smart . He lives with a kitten (whom he loves to play with) and a 150 lb Great Dane who we're fostering right now. With him being only 15 lbs, it's quite the size difference.Well here's a picture of Winston, and I can't wait to learn from everyone on here! |

Congrats on your new addition. He is adorable. Well - the bay is a dead give away. I just adopted a beagle mix too. He doesn't bay. He has the beagle nose, tail, and appetite. I have found that his personality traits and natural hard-wired behaviors are even more telling than appearance in guessing his breeds.
Winston sounds like a very good boy. Enjoy him. |
