New User/New Beagle Mommy

Howdy all. Just found this site and thought I would try it out since I have just found myself to be the mommy of a 10 week old Beagle that my 4yr old son named Rascal. I've loaded pix of my cutie to my profile if you want to check him out. I'm completely bias but I think he's just too cute for words...which is actually the reason I ended up with him...an impulse buy. My husband and I have been talking for years about what we would eventually get, Beagle or Welsh Corgi. I voted Corgi so imagine my husband's surprised when I walked in our door with an adorable beagle. An early Christmas present for son and husband alike. Anyhow, we are located in Houston and may be looking for other Beagles for Rascal to meet. Though we do have a Lab mix who thinks he's a lap dog. If any one is ever interested in play date, let me know. I'm sure I will be back on here with tons of questions. hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hi Kimber!

You will find that owning a beagle (especially a pup) is a huge challenge and a great reward. Corgis are great too, but I'd rather have my beagles. Good choice!
