Hi there my name is actually Susan, my hubby & I just today adopted a 3-year-old female beagle named Biscuit. We adopted her from a dog shelter - we first saw her yesterday at the county fair where a news channel was sponsoring them. To make a long story short the news channel paid for the adoption and so now we have a new family member! Our other dogs (standard poodle & mini dachshund) seem to do really well with her so far.
Anyways that's our story so far. It was my 10 year old daughter's idea mainly as she has been begging us to get her a beagle for the past 6 months. She even made a PowerPoint presentation on the many reasons to get a beagle. I do have one question and that is about shedding - what all can be done to reduce or keep it under control? Does the Furminator work well? I have been researching these as we could really use one with our dachshund too ![]() Thanks for reading! Susan (and Biscuit) |

Hey Emma,
So how's Biscuit doing? Love to see some pictures of her when you can get a moment. Sent from Petguide.com Free App
