I agree! And to think, a shelter dog! He was nearly brought to kill shelter with heartworms, which we all know what his fate would have been then . Luckily a vet tech working at the vet clinic the lady brought him in to works for rescue and fostered him and he was treated for hw. I can't imagine.

Thank goodness you found him!! I like to rescue the ones that no one wants. They end up being amazing dogs.

Well, I got him through the rescue where he was safe, but very close to being brought to kill shelter before that where they would have immediately put him down bc of hw. I just hope that my taking him can open a spot to pull another dog like him to rescue and safe from euth.

I live in Louisiana where hunting is huge, so my thought is possible hunting failure abandoned?
