Default How to unjoin this group?

I would like to unjoin this group but I don't see how to do so. I have clicked to edit my profile but I don't see that option listed anywhere.

I didn't see a link, I think you just unsubscribe from your threads and stop coming around. I may have missed it, it should be all under your quick links.

If you are un-joining because of anything someone might have said, just remember that it's impossible for everyone to agree on everything at all times. We all live in different parts of the world, and have different things that can affect our animals as well as us.

Everyone here is passionate about animals, or they wouldn't have joined a forum specifically for pets. The thing is what may work for one person, isn't always going to work for another. Some people will get heated in arguments if they don't agree with something that is said.

On here as with anywhere in life really, there are going to be those people who take an argument to far. I have seen name calling and various other unkind things said in the past. In most cases apologies have been said but it still left hurt feelings.

The most important thing to remember is that for the most part nobody here is professionals. Everyone has a right to their own opinion on how to raise their pets. If it works for them that is fine. Everyone should be able to share their opinions without fear of worrying that someone will chastise them for it. I think everyone would do well to remember that just because you don't agree with something that is said doesn't mean it might not work for someone else.

When it comes down to it we are all here to share with others. If someone is being rude and saying stuff that is mean or hurtful the best way to handle it is just to ignore it. I know it can be hard to just walk away from an argument but by replying it just gives creedence to whatever harmful things have been said.

Hey, Kath. Your point is well taken. However in this case, it's one specific individual. And it is not like with Brandy and I- if I state a point that I am researching and she doesn't agree with, she respectfully answers that from her experience and perspectives she doesn't agree. That is ok-it's what forums are all about. I'm talking about something entirely different here. I have even gone back and reread all my posts and the posts in question, and I maintain my original position . For example: I have a question about what I've learned that excessive exercise in puppyhood can cause orthopedic issues in adulthood-does that only apply to the large breeds like Pitbulls,( I used that breed because it was them that made me learn about this.) I'm told that of COURSE Beagles can run and walk for long periods, and told that Pitbulls are NOT a large breed, they are MEDIUM breed and why do I keep referring to Beagles as small when they are a MEDIUM breed also.
You are correct, I should just ignore, but being the type of person I am, I feel a need to explain myself. So I say that while that is true technically, that Pitbulls are more of a type because of their very mixed ancestory, kind of like the Rat Terrier and they they run the size gamit and CAN be very LARGE. Then I get a lesson on Rat Terriers actually being a breed instead of a type and that AKC has finally recognized them and told about the various other kennel clubs which I already am very aware of. And looking at my original post I DID state that RT's are TECHNICALLY a breed, but more of a "type" which I feel is correct. But anyway, now we are way off the subject and I am getting angrier. All I wanted was input as to whether the orthopedic issues that can afflict the larger breeds if they are exercised too much as puppies would also apply to the smaller breeds like Beagles as PUPPIES. SINCERELY, that was my only agenda when made the ORIGINAL post. But I know myself, I am UNABLE to just ignore things-I will always keep responding in kind. I'm 62 years old and can't change at this age.

Ha, ha. ha! Well, I'm back! I've decided my opinions are just as valid as anyone else's even though I don't know how to copy and paste! I can be just as condescending as anyone else can be! Bring it on! Hello everyone. I'm so glad everyone is glad that I am back! (Unless there is a vailed message here somewhere?)

Dillon the Beagle here. I am a little smarter than my human and I say there is DEFINITELY a vailed message here, plus nothing is apparently private. Well, like my old lady says-bring it on corn gluten and all!
