Hello everyone. Just registered here today and really excited that I can compare notes with all of you experienced Beagle owners. My first time having a beagle. Cody is now 16 weeks old and quite a handful. Looking forward to having a place to turn to for some advice.

Default Introducing Tessa

Hi Everyone

My name is Frazer and my beautiful beagle is called Tessa who's 4 years old. I'm looking for advice as part of joining the forum if someone could help me. basically I'm trying to raise money for my girl as she's recently been diagnosed with the onset of Intervertebral Disc Disease. For anyone that hasn't heard of this please do some research, I wasn't aware of it until 5 days ago when my Tessa's back legs became unstable and a host of other symptoms. I have pet insurance for Tessa but money is a real big problem for me and my partner hence trying to raise money. Can somebody please tell me if it would be okay to share my link to the funding page?

Apologies if this isn't the right place to bring this up i'm just desperate to try and get help funding my girls treatment and also raise awareness of horrible disease.

Thanks Frazer

Sorry, Frazer. I don't know if it is OK to share fund raising links here. Cheryl is our moderator. She will be able to answer your questions.

So sorry Tessa is having health issues.

Welcome to both of you!

I don't know the answer either but perhaps the moderator will be on and answer about the link. I don't know where you live but perhaps check if there is a veterinary college near you who can treat your dog for merely the experience in training. Make sure your dog gets rest and crated if possible to limit activity. Hopefully it begins to resolve with time. I'm sure there may be others who can offer up advice on the condition. Fortunately my dog has not had that problem.

Red face Hello!

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm the owner of a 3.5 year old beagle boy named Stitch, and just very recently, another beagle puppy named Scout who is currently 10 weeks old! We live in San Francisco's Marina district and I'm hoping to use this forum to get to know other beagle owners and get feedback, tips, and help others. Thanks!
