I recall a formula like 25% new mixed w/75% old for a few days, then 50/50 for couple of days, then 75% new/25% old for a couple, then 100%.

Honestly I didn't do it to get her on her current food and it didnt affect her.

Rascal would only eat people food when we first adopted her so we fed her boiled eggs and rice gradually adding kibble too. At that time we thought she had food allergies too. So the small amount of kibble was Costco Salmon and Sweet Potato. We think the 'allergy' was from the stress of being dumped outdoors and abandoned.
