Vaccinations

Does anyone have any comments regarding vaccinations? Has anyone had any bad reactions to giving their Beagle(s) certain vaccines?

My Claire has had 2 allergic reactions to her vaccines. Once about 11 years ago, her face swelled up about 12 hours after her vaccine. Then it happened again last year, swelling occurred only an hour or so after. Both times I had to bring her in for IV Benedryl. After the first time, she was getting her vaccines split up 2 weeks apart & I would give her oral Benedryl 1/2 hour before her appointment.

I'm seriously considering not continuing Alice's vaccine regimen.

You should have a discussion with your vet regarding risks with/without. The vet may be able to give 2 half doses with a little time in between the vaccine which may reduce the reaction.
