Default Forgot Housetraining!

Chase is a 3 year old beagle who we adopted from another family 7 months ago. We never had a problem with 'house training' and he settled in great. However, all of a sudden he keeps 'peeing' during the night. We leave him alone in the kitchen and when we come down in the morning, there is always a pee (on the vinyl, not carpet!). He has x3 30-40min walks a day and we always let him out in the garden (& watch) him do a pee before we go bed. We were at the Vet a while ago and mentioned this (because we had changed his food so thought this was the concern) and she checked his pee for infection but no problems so I dont want to go rushing back to the vets as they are costly. Does anyone else have a similar problem or ideas on how to prevent it? Thanks

Do you leave water out at night. If so that can be it.

Crate him at night for awhile?

Just start over, remind him what is expected of him. But I'd worry about the possibility of bladder stones, too. Did your vet check for that? If he did and the dog was cleared, I'd just repeat housetraining procedures.

I would also add, our beagle would pee ' a little' before bed in the garden, and have the occasional accident. However, when we moved to a before bed walk around the block..she peed a lot, and no more accidents.
Perhaps he is just not evacuating quite enough before bed without a little more walking?
