Default A beagle's daily meal

So today, Puddles ate a bowl of cereal with Vitamin B and Calcium, then a
piece of bread and a muffin with wrapper (bread and muffin from outside).
He is driving me absolutely bonkers today. Once he gets something in his
mouth (outside) there's no getting it from him. I used to use a prong collar
for this very reason, then felt bad about using it so switched to a harness.
Now it's so difficult to get him away from all the garbage food people leave
outside. Uggh, so frustrated today. Sorry, just need to vent!

I'll have to look for a halti. When he grabs something (mostly food) he refuses to drop it. Most times I try to be very watchful of my surroundings and can often times catch and avoid such a situation but then there's times like today where I completely miss it and down it goes. Once he grabs food from outside, it's like he goes into a trance and is oblivious to everyone around him, even me. That's why I kinda like the prong collar cause I could give a quick jerk if he tried to grab something, but as I said, I feel bad using it all the time cause this is an ongoing issue.

Dillon has 3 identities. When he is just being ok he is Dillon. When he is being a sweet baby boy he is Bunny. But when he's being a little monster who picks up and eats things on the ground, gets in the trash can and chews up household items he is Stubs! He has been Stubs very often in the last few months!

Austin also has multiple personalities- When he's just ok and normal, he's Austin or Buddy, when he's particularly snuggly, we call him the cuddlebug, and when he's getting into mischief, he's the stinker! (He's also a particularly odorous dog, so this is rather appropriate) Then there's Mr Hyde- We thankfully haven't seen him in a while. Austin came to us with some aggression issues that we've had to deal with.

But I'm happy to say that even the stinker has been hiding the past few days- Austin is shaping up to be a really well behaved dog.

LOL! So it seems, for the most part, beagles have multiple personalities! Good to know! We started the day off right today with another muffin wrapper MINUS THE MUFFIN! I even saw the wrapper, stomped my foot on it so he couldn't get it but as I tried to get him to move forward and lifted my foot off the wrapper, GONE! Uggh, this is not him being a stinker, this is him being a little bugger!
