Default Lotti is not eating today

Hello,

I didn't realise that having a dog would be as worrying as having a child, lol.
I hope I am not being a paranoid parent... Lotti has not eaten today so far (she normally wolfs down her food), she also hasn't drunk any water. Last night for her evening meal I gave her the leftover lamb from our meal. Could the lamb be the problem? She hasn't been sick, she is a little despondent and slept most of the day (but she normally sleeps).

Any advice would be great.
Many Thanks
Jo

Yea maybe a tummy ache. Let her rest.
The water part is distrubing more then the food part. Watch for dehydration (pinch the shoulder skin and count the return time) watcht he gums should be pink and moist and when pressed return to pink asap.

If anything else comes up contact the vet. But Iwould let her tummy rest for sure for 24hrs.

Thank you Brandypup for the reassurance.. Do you think that it might have been the lamb? Wondering if I should avoid feeding it to her in the future?

Lamb is very rich. It could give her a tummy ache. As for not giving it, well knowing me I would probably try again with very small amounts. Some dogs can't tolerate it, some can, some it takes time. Were there spices on it? that could be a culprate also.

Ahhh thats a possiblity, the lamb was roasted with a little paprika/rosemary/salt and pepper. I only gave lotti the lamb from the centre of the Lamb near the bone.... But I think in future as you suggested I will try her on much smaller portion and see what happens.
