I am not surprised by this at all but Wal-Mart has to recall the Pet Armor flea tick treatment that they claim is a generic Frontline. I don't know all the details but my vet posted on Facebook about it.
JUST AN FYI - I AM TRYING TO VERIFY THIS FOR SURE AND WILL RE-POST WHEN I GET INFO

Mollysmom- do you have a link? I've been searching online and can find nothing. Even Walmart, FDA, and Pet Armor's sites have nothing on a recall. Could this be a rumor?

I am trying to get more info. My vet usually posts recalls on their Facebook site and they did have the photo. If I find more I will post ASAP.

Thanks... I've been hunting around trying to find info, but I'm wondering if it was an internet hoax b/c I can't find anything, even on the FDA website. I did see a couple of queries about an Amazon forum discussion on the recall being deleted, so wonder if maybe it was a rumor and that's why Amazon removed the posts. I hope so, the pet armor has worked well for us so far and is soooo much cheaper that I'd hate to lose it as an option and I certainly don't want my pets in any danger as well.

Good idea, Brandypup, I should've done that earlier :-)
So, I just called Pet Armor and it is not a recall. Walmart had an issue with the Pet Armor products' UPC code not scanning correctly, so they had to temporarily halt sales until they fixed the issue with their cash registers picking up the UPC codes. Nothing wrong with the products at all. Just a misunderstanding. Whew!!
