Many dogs have allergic reactions from their plastic food bowls. I owned a pet supply store for 13 years and heard about this a lot. After changing to stainless steel bowls many dogs (and cats too) were cured. Can't say that it will work for sure but it sure won't hurt. Mattie and Douglas have the non-tip variety and they work great! You can get them at your local pet store.
