There have been times during the night that my dog will give a little yelp. So I think she is calling to go outside-I open the crate to find her curled up and she doesn't stir--geez I don't want to wake a sleeping giant (lol). I carefully close the crate and hope I didn't disturb her
. I imagine then she must be dreaming. Have any of you had the same experience?

so many times one night I didn't know what that strange constant noise was ( he sleeps in the kitchen), the next day he was sleeping in my bedroom while I was watching Tv and he started doing that same noise, turned out he was dreaming and barking with his mouth closed so funny. He also rolls over when hes dreaming of being pet in the belly lol.

Oh dog dreams are so much fun. My Aussie dreamt all the time. She would bark, growl and sometimes wag her tail(yep she had a tail)!! It was always funny watching her wag her tail. She seemed so happy.
A couple of my beagles dream and others I've never seen it. I always wonder if when they are dreaming are they chasing a rabbit? Sent from Petguide.com Free App

So I thought. I will have to distinguish between...."dream'n noises" vs. a more desperate, "Hey wake up I gotta pee".
Since we've had her I resorted to a night light while I sleep so I can see so I don't kill myself getting up, running down the hallway, through the living room, then the dining room to open the door .
