This is what I'm buying for next winter for my pack. I've seen these on a beagle and the fit and coverage is perfect. I really liked the design.

Hi there, we also have a beagle and they love playing outside when it is winter. I think it depends, may be there are beagles who are not tolerant to colds and there are beagles who used to love colds. By the way beagles are super cute and you'll love playing with them around.

That does look perfect! The thing about my beagle is that she's what I like to call "busty". She's small, but she has such a broad chest that nothing fits right. Then I got this sort of vest-like fleece and it's perfect because it can adjust across her chest and under it. Here's a picture of it.

After seeing a Hurtta on a beagle I'm sold. The adjustability is endless and since it truly protects and covers the chest it's perfect for my agility beagles. The thing I don't like about some dog coats is there is nothing on the tummy area but the strap. This covers the chest. Plus it has a drawstring to snug on our chesty girls.

In the uk we had snow few weeks ago, at its coldest (in south where I live) it got down to -5 in the summer it can reach a whopping 25-30
(not exactly exotic!) but those temperatures change so much daily. This summer Will be the first since we were able to walk Odie (was too young last year). He loved the snow, we put a coat on him as we noticed he would shiver if he stood still for too long! Sent from Petguide.com App |
