Default Getting really bad :(

my beagle pip is almost 8 months and she is getting really aggressive to the point that she is really hurting my mum. But the thing is she only gets really aggressive at night when my dad is at work.

She is biting, growling/showing her teeth and barking. We have tried everything eg ignoring her, making a loud high pitched noise but is got to the point that we have to physically stop her by pushing her off us dragging her outside and holding her jaws and even hitting her I know this is bad but we have no choice because she is hurting us.

Any advise we just don't know what to do

This dog thinks she is the boss of you. That is very NOT GOOD.

Look into obedience training--it's not as expensive as you might think, I got 6 very useful lessons for $145. Dogs need to know exactly what you expect of them or they can get aggressive, which (with the small amount of information provided) seems to be the case here. You and your mother need to do the work with her though as she apparently already respects your father. Be consistent and work hard! Good luck!
