Hi guys,
We recently took our beagle Bernie to the vet and was told that he had a small bottom jaw. He is only four months old, and when we brought him, we were told he was a pure bread beagle. We brought him at 12 weeks and had no issues, until he grew up abit more. Now we can actually notice his small bottom jaw, I am very scared that it might cause him alot of issues when he gets older. Has anyone had this issue before or heard of anything like this? Thanks in advance Sel |

This is a inherited condition.
A good source of information: About Dogs - Malocclusion - Incorrect Bite Also: Dog Malocclusions (Underbite or Overbite) and Unstable Jaw on MedicineNet |
