Private Practice Season 6 Episode 6 the club Nucky approaches Melon and says they have an enemy in common: Harry Dougherty. He has dealings with Dougherty that deal with the circumvention of the Volstead Act. And while Nucky is just a small businessman, it is wrong for the Attorney General to be involved in a criminal enterprise. Nucky proposes running Melon’s still for him if he has Remus arrested, saying Melon will have all he needs on Dougherty then. Melon acts disinterested and tells Nucky to leave (and tells a waiter at the club to call the police if the interloper doesn’t leave immediately), but soon he calls Nucky at his office and tells him that the deal is done.
