Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Episode 11 Nucky pays a visit to Gillian and offers his condolences. The two play along with Gillian’s story about Jimmy returning from one of his excursions with a substance abuse problem. Suddenly Gillian tosses a drink in Nucky’s New Girl Season 2 Episode 8 face and accuses him of killing her son, saying it is especially shocking because Nucky has buried a son himself and because of all the promises made to her and Jimmy (by the commodore to be carried out by Nucky, Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Episode 11 presumably) that were never kept. In the opening scene Harrow and Gillian and her advisor Leander are at a funeral for Jimmy, the young man that Gillian drowned in her bathtub. Meantime, Nucky, Eli and Private Practice Season 6 Episode 6 Owen are in Nucky’s office when Eddie bursts in with the news that James Darmity’s death notice is in the newspaper. The group is confused as Nucky shot and killed Jimmy months ago. Meantime, in Chicago, Torrio is back from his vacation to Italy and it is all he can talk about, how they have a whole different outlook on life Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Episode 11 over there: wine, bread, relaxation, because they know life is short. Capone sits down with Torrio and tells him about the incident with one of O’Banion’s men, Joe Miller, or rather how Capone killed Miller in a bar New Girl Season 2 Episode 8 fight because he was rude to Jake Guzik. Capone is worried Torrio will be angry that he caused strife between the gangs while he was away, but Torrio seems understanding, surprising Capone, saying the matter could wait until they meet with O’Banion tomorrow.

Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Episode 11 Nucky shoots back that she exists in this town because he allows her to. The following morning Nucky has a meeting with prosecutor Esther Randolph and Means. Means gives Nucky some information about getting to Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Episode 11 Treasury Secretary Melon to convince him to arrest George Remus. He tells Nucky that Melon will be at a private club at lunchtime and that the Secretary has a distillery that is going unused. Nucky is to go to the club and use a different name to get in and then wait for Melon in hopes of talking him into a deal. At Private Practice Season 6 Episode 6 the club Nucky approaches Melon and says they have an enemy in common: Harry Dougherty. He has dealings with Dougherty that deal with the circumvention of the Volstead Act. And while Nucky is just a small businessman, it is wrong for the Attorney General to be involved in a criminal enterprise. Nucky proposes running Melon’s still for him if he has Remus arrested, saying Melon will have all he needs on Dougherty then. Melon acts disinterested and tells Nucky to leave (and tells a waiter at the club to call the police if the interloper doesn’t leave immediately), but soon he calls Nucky at his office and tells him that the deal is done.
