I let Puddles on the couch, but I keep an old blanket over it most of the time so his hair doesn't shed all over. And most times after I have given him a bath, he LOVES to jump up on it and try to dry himself off, lol. Thankfully my bed is high enough he can't jump on it!

So apparently having a blanket on the couch doesn't prevent messes. Puddles just jumped on my couch, literally moved the blanket, then threw up
